Engagement portraits are so much fun and I'll tell you why...

Weddings are a melting pot of who you are as a couple, your families and cultural traditions, but engagement portraits get to be entirely focused on the two of you. It's the story of who you are with each-other, and where you like to hang out. For some people that's on top of a mountain, others it's paddle-boarding on your fave lake, a picnic in the park, hitting the town, hanging out in a coffee shop. It can honestly take place anywhere you are both being your most authentic selves together. 

Another great reason to take engagement portraits...It's the perfect dress rehearsal for your wedding day portraits, and a wonderful way to get to know your photographer. You'll feel so much more comfortable on the big day feeling confidant in your pictures, and also having done a vibe check on the person behind the lens. 

Once those pics are done, you can start to send them out in all sorts of ways to amp up the steam engine of the wedding to come. Post on your wedding website, put teasers out on your social, make your Mom happy with some new fridge photos.
