FAMILY PORTRAIT PRICING
Portrait sessions are a good time, lasting around an hour, and built to help you get over any last vestiges of being camera shy. I'll guide you towards choosing a favorite locations that suits your families style and personality, and help with styling ideas in advance. For pregnancy and baby photos, we often start in your home and then go to a park, and for family portraits we often go somewhere age- appropriate so we can photograph the kids at play in their fun time environments. Engagement is more sentimental, sometimes even heading to the spot the question was popped, and then moving on from there. Session will include 80-100 full sized digital negatives. The cost for a full portrait session is $475 plus tax.
A great option for some of my clients is a mini shoot. This is 30 minutes long session and 40-50 digital images. It's a great way to catch up on family portraits without having to make the same time and money investment. Mini shoots occur at one location of your choice in the seattle area, and include the full sized digital negatives. The cost for a mini shoot is $400.00 plus tax.
Sometimes you want to do something special with your images beyond your set of prints. Canvas prints, custom printed albums, and also photo printed memory boxes are all options for taking your images to the next level, either for yourself or a special present for family or friends. These are all options that I can share with you when you get your original set of images here at my home studio.
Often clients ask me for location and wardrobe ideas. I have lots of great ideas, so don’t be shy if you’re just not sure where to go or what to wear. We will establish what kinds of spots feel the most like you, and then come up with some cute clothes that fit your personality and the place. Props are always welcome too, and they can include anything from big to small. Big (one family wanted to be photographed on their boat!) to small (a very little dog named Cupcake). Also fun………… cool umbrellas, the family dog, a big old picture frame, or a large sign to be incorporated into one of the photos. This could say Happy Holidays, Thank you, whatever you like. So let’s make a date and start snapping!
Best, Starr
