One of the favorite things of mine about senior sessions is talking out what they want to wear and the vibe we want to create. Nolan had spent time in Japan last year, and wanted things to have a Tokyo city vibe with his first suit and vintage cowboy boots. He and his mom spent a day downtown the week before our session, and found a rooftop garage with a really cool view. Day of our session though we had a deep winter fog to contend with, but decided to roll with it anyway. We started on the garage rooftop, headed to the downtown Seattle library for some great color contrast, and came back to it at the end to capture the day to night feel. The night scape had such a wonderfully eerie presentation, fog mixing with empty but lit up office buildings, and a dramatic light delivered by my off camera flash set up. These are some of my fave senior boy shots to date, hope you enjoy the winter drama of them too.
