I'm going to go out on a limb here and say something. Snow portraits are very romantic.
I can see all those eyebrows out there raising, but I'll stick by my statement. There aren't many daytime activities that can bring two people together more than snow on a winters day.
First there's the quiet blanket over the landscape that makes you feel like your the only two people in the world.
Then there's all that beautiful reflected light that makes us all look a little shinier and brighter than usual.
Finally there's the pure child like joy of it. Romping through it, having or wanting to hold your partners hand while you navigate your way, the sheer fun of it...
It's for this reason I was super excited to photograph Briana and Darian at Gold Creek Pond at Snoqualmie Pass. They are one of the most globe trotting couples I know, climbing peaks and traveling the world in their expanding love story. It felt like the perfect spot to capture the fun and active nature of their connection.
We still have some winter left if you'd like to set up an adventure portrait session. I know all the best spots ;)
See you soon.
